While many breeds have been around for years or are the result of naturally occuring genetic mutations the Bombay is the result of years of selective breeding in an effort to develop a mini "Parlour Panther" They have a short sleek shiny black coat and brilliant gold to copper eyes, often being referred to as "the patent leather kids with copper penny eyes."

Bombay cats are for people who have always wanted a panther, a dog or a monkey. They are extremely smart and agile, and their tight coats make them desirable as totally indoor cats. they are therefore well suited to apartment living.

Burmese cats are very playful, have extroverted and loving personalities and are highly intelligent and sweet natured. They love people and are very good with children. Burmese are very social cats and happy to be indoors. They can adapt easily to most situations.
